Meet Paul — Your Teacher & Mentor
I first picked up the guitar at age 8, when my mother took me to weekly lessons with a local tutor. At the time, I didn’t know this would be one of the greatest gifts my parents ever gave me, besides the gift of life itself.
Learning and mastering an instrument is a lifelong journey. For me, it has led to performing in professional bands, recording, and travel. But only in later years did I realise how deeply guitar had shaped my mental health and personal growth. That’s why I believe learning an instrument can benefit anyone child or adult who chooses to embrace the arts.
My background in philosophy, theology, psychology, and education gives me a unique approach: I don’t just teach songs or theory, I teach growth through music.
I’ve also worked in schools and with children who face challenges such as ADHD and Autism. I’ve seen firsthand how music can calm the mind, improve focus, and give students a voice they didn’t know they had.
Outside of music, I’m committed to health, nutrition, and fitness, and I am a devout Catholic who spent several years in formation at the Good Shepherd Seminary. For me, teaching guitar is not only about music, it’s about discipline, well-being, and joy in life.
When you learn with me, you’re not just learning guitar. You’re building confidence, resilience, and creativity that lasts a lifetime.
